Shema

The word Shema (Sh’mah) is the first word of Deuteronomy 6:4-9. It means "Hear" or "Listen" in an imperative sense in these verses. Hebrews recite the Shema as a statement of faith. It was faithfully practiced for thousands of years, and is still practiced today by the faithful. It is a powerful way to live each day.

Seeking Him Enables MAbundance

The above anagram is our way of remembering that the daily practice of The Shema is the key to finding the abundant life. It helps to remind us of the result of obeying The Shema. The Shema says...

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 – "Hear O Israel: The LORD our God (Yahweh), the Lord is one.Love the LORD your God (Yahweh) with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates."

By the faithful, daily practice of The Shema, you will find that your needs are increasingly being met in YHWH. Keeping your proper relationship with YHWH ever in the forefront of your mind will strengthen your relationship to the point that you will find all of your emotional and spiritual needs being met in Him.

With your needs met in Him, the people around you and the things in your life become gifts, above and beyond what you need to be happy, secure and loved. Your family is no longer incorrectly burdened by trying to meet your basic needs. Those needs are now met YHWH , not in theory, but in actual fact. Now another person's love and attention towards you becomes a precious gift in your life. Everything becomes new and more than you need. Your life is now truly abundant! This is the truly abundant life !

We encourage you to apply The Shema in your daily walk with for 30 days with unerring faithfulness. You will be amazed at the difference in your life in such a short time. It is the greatest of the commandments. How can we not apply it faithfully in our lives? Try it. We pray that the Most High God will richly bless you in your renewed walk with Him.
